Accounts
- Sign up with email + password (8+ characters). You're taken straight to create your first organization (you can skip and do it later).
- Sign in with email + password, or with a passkey if enrolled. You land on your role's home automatically.
Passkeys (recommended)
Passkeys are passwordless, phishing-resistant sign-in using your device's biometrics or a security key — ideal for shared event laptops.
- Go to Passkeys in the top nav → Add a passkey, name the device, and complete the prompt.
- Enroll several; remove any you no longer use. Email + password always remains as a fallback.
Organizations & switching
Everything you do is scoped to your active organization. If you belong to more than one, the Dashboard lists them — click Switch to make another active. The top-nav badge shows your current org and role.
Roles
| Role | Can do |

| Member | View their organizations; manage their own sign-in. |
| Referee | Member, plus create tournaments/matches and run tests. |
| Org admin | Referee, plus manage machines, roster, rulesets, members, settings. |
| Super admin | Manage all orgs, users and governing bodies; support any org. |
An org admin assigns roles under Members.
