Standalone speed check
Connect the NEMI dyno over USB, read live speed, and judge pass/fail by eye. Nothing is saved — this is the no-account fast path.
How the standalone reader works
Click Connect device to read the NEMI dyno over USB (Chrome/Edge), or Try demo for simulated readings with no hardware. Drive the chair on the rollers and watch the averaged speed and running peak. Nothing is saved here — to record official results, sign in and use the referee workflow. Full guide: Help → Guest speed check.
Reading the gauges
Averaged chair speed is the headline number and Running peak is the highest speed seen. The balance / steering needle shows left–right imbalance — centered is balanced. Result compares the peak to the pass ceiling set in Calibration. Use mph / km·h to switch units and Reset peak to start over.
Calibration · and where In/Out lives
Expand Calibration constants below to set the pass ceiling, tolerance and conversion factors (Derive → computes them from the drum diameter). The In/Out direction control and the pre/post-game ceilings are part of the guided referee capture screen, not this page — the standalone reader is a single free reading.
Calibration constants
Placeholder values until the legacy Settings + measured roller diameter land (docs/04 Q2/Q3). The right roller’s CountsPerRev is negative — the sign selects drive direction.
